It is one of the most popular Chipiona parties. These festivities that date back to 1611, are celebrated from September 4 to 8 and symbolize the farewell of the summer in the town of Chipiona.
During these days the streets of Chipiona acquire a totally festive atmosphere where traditional dances, wine from the land, shows, musical performances, parades, horsemen’s competitions, booths, etc. are not lacking.
To end the holiday, on September 8 the venerated Virgin de Regla procession takes place from the temple that gives its name at 6 in the afternoon, making its journey through the Chipionera streets and at midnight it takes place at the Playa de Rule a wonderful fireworks show.
