As there are many fairs, we are going to mention the closest and most popular ones: we begin in chronological order, the Rota Fair. The Rota Spring Fair does not lack its numerous and lively booths, fairground clubs, its beautiful and fine lighting, its noisy "calle del infierno", its stately and wide horse ride, its sevillanas dance contest, of ornaments, and cattle, and its amusement park.
The Rota Fair will take place from April 27 to 30, 2023
Seville Fair, as is tradition, this festival is celebrated two weeks after Easter, officially inaugurating with the lighting that will take place at 00:00 on Sunday, April 23.
For a week, this festival -declared of International Tourist Interest- will involve visitors who will be able to enjoy singing and dancing, chatting with friends, gastronomy in the booths and Calle del Infierno, where the attractions are for young and old. All until Saturday, April 29, the day on which the week of the Fair ends with the fireworks display.
We continue with the Jerez de la Frontera Fair, better known as the Horse Fair. The week that the people of Jerez look forward to throughout the year and that gathers in the González Hontoria Park, in an ephemeral city of booths, a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere. It is the Horse Fair, declared of International Tourist Interest, which in 2023 is held from May 6 to 13, and which offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy local wines, the magic of flamenco, the spectacular ride of horses and the joy that transforms Jerez for a week and reveals the uniqueness of our city and its enormous tourist attraction. During this week, Jerez shows off its best clothes around its main tourist exponents: horses, flamenco and wine.
And last but not least, the Sanlucar de Barrameda Fair or also known as the Manzanilla Fair (from June 06 to 11, 2023).
This spectacular fair takes place in the fairgrounds located on Calzada Duquesa Isabel and adjacent streets, including its fantastic promenade, next to an incomparable setting, where this city, with its unique light and sunset, blends into the landscape with the National Park. of Doñana, and the mouth of the Guadalquivir River.
These days, Sanlúcar is dressed in color, music, gastronomy, folklore and lots of joy, all bathed in the gold of its quintessential wine with the La Manzanilla denomination of origin, with a very varied program.
