Chipiona

Chipiona is in a privileged location, easily accessible from the other towns in the area, and where everything is within walking distance. Chipiona lends itself to all the five senses. It has unspoilt charms and is both a typical village and a coastal town which captures your heart as you walk through its streets. Visitors can get to know the various quirky areas that our town has to offer, but during your stay here you will be able to enjoy, above all, the hospitable and welcoming character of the local people, so typical of this part of the country.

Chipiona has five very different beaches, but they all have in common their fine, white sand.

It is also important to mention the quality of the sea water and its healing properties. The waters here have a very high iodine content, which has made Chipiona a destination for seawater cures for more than a hundred years. Year after year the beaches are awarded European Community blue flags to prove the cleanliness of the water. In total, Chipiona has more than 12 kilometres of coastline, of which 7.6km make up the four main beaches.

There is also a rich historical and cultural tradition. It is worth mentioning the famous lighthouse and the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Regla, as well as more recent attractions such as the Museum of Moscatel Wine and the Camaleón Environmental Centre.
